Graduation Gift Card Holder

 100_5022

I pulled this idea straight from the June 2012 issue of our demonstrator’s Stampin’ Success magazine.  This clever little card holder came in handy this month.  Not only did I use this as a June Stamp Club project but I was in need of a gift card holder for a young lady who graduated from high school.

100_5028     For this project, I used our local high school colors…Night of Navy, Real Red and Whisper White.  The sentiment, from Loving Thoughts, just seems so perfect for any graduate :)  A length of Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine makes a cute tassel.  The cap is “hinged” to the base with a brad.  While the base is doubled to make a pocket to hold the gift card or money.  If you would like a template, the demonstrator website has one there.  I made mine just a little bigger than what they provided.  If you’d like that, let me know and I will be happy to email it to you.

Thanks for dropping in today.  I’m so glad you did.  I hope you’ve been inspired!

Hugs,

Leslee

Supplies are Stampin’ Up! and can be purchased here.
