“A” is for…

Acetate and Animal Crackers…of course!

So here is what I come up with for “A”.  What do you think?  I think that IRL it is simply gorgeous!  I know that I need lots of work on photographing these green/blue colors too!  Sorry about that.

A

I’ve used a Whisper White card base.  A panel of Bermuda Bay (yes, I know the photo looks more like Teal than Bermuda Bay but it is Bermuda Bay).  The left Aaside has a piece of the black polka dot printed acetate (window sheets) that is found in the Night & Day Specialty DSP that was in the most recent Holiday Mini Catalog.  I find the printed sheets a little intimidating to use on a card so this was a big step for me.  The ribbon is Real Red 1/4” grosgrain, which I used to hide the edge of the acetate.  The hearts were punched in Real Red card stock using the Heart To Heart punch.  The adorable bunny and squirrel from Animal Crackers were stamped in Jet Black StazOn ink and colored in using Blender Pens.  They are mounted on a punched Scallop Circle of Basic Black.  I felt that the black background made the cute little critters stand out a little better.  The sentiment was markered in Basic Black a stamped centered below the scallop circle.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s “A” and have been inspired to use your acetate sheets that you’ve been hoarding. :)  I’ll be back tomorrow with the letter “B”.  I do hope you’ll come back.

Hugs,
